The apartments that are most in-demand are generally the ones in the village centre. That’s not where we are.
Following the narrow road leading up from the village, you arrive at a place where the evening sun shines longer and the balcony view reaches from the Puez-mountains to the peaks of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. Here is where you will find the farm Porta-Kaiser.
Simple yet cozy apartments
We rent two flats to our guests: the "Vaciara" and the "Mesamunt". We have taken care to furnish them in a comfortable way: a warm atmosphere with lots of light, enough space for your things, with a beautiful balcony where you can enjoy the Dolomites. Each apartment has a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen-living room with everything you need. Both flats are similar, but still a little different to allow our guests to choose the one that suits them best.
The “Kaiser”
The king at the farm “Porta-Kaiser” is Franz. He is a mountain farmer who, like his wife Genovefa, knows how to appreciate the small things in life. Here at Porta-Kaiser we’re proud to give our guests a taste of our homemade Speck. We also offer milk, eggs and homemade jams. On our farm, there are pigs, cows, calves and chickens. We love animals and your pets will also always be welcome.
Some guests say, that it is the effort we make to ensure them everything necessary for a comfortable stay, that makes this place so special. And when our guests come back year after year, we are delighted: That’s when we know that we have done a good job as hosts.

Lungiarü is different!
The Dolomites are not just the places you have already seen in pictures. The village of Lungiarü isn’t printed on postcards and on travel catalogues. Therefore it’s mostly unknown to mass tourism: there are only a few hotels, no après-ski and the only shop is Mrs Anneliese's groceries. People looking for trendy clubs and boutiques will be disappointed because Lungiarü is reserved for nature lovers, for hikers and alpinists in seek of wilderness and relax. In winter, you can reach the slopes of Kronplatz in 15 minutes. Skiing in Alta Badia is possible with a 25 minutes car drive.
How to reach us
Experience the mountain landscape at 1500m
Follow the signs "Porta-Kaiser" to reach the hamlet of Vi, 2 km uphill from the village centre. Turn right and pass old farmhouses and barns decorated with roots and sculptures to reach our place. Are you curious to find out more?
